We finished recruitment for the WANDA survey and got responses from over 700 participants. We are incredibly grateful for the contributions of our participants, our lived experience expert collaborators, and the organisations that have helped us disseminate the survey. None of this work would have been possible without them.
We are working hard to analyse the data and hoping to have some more updates here in the next few months. At the moment, we are planning to use the data to prioritise answering the following research questions:
What are the community priorities for future research into perinatal mental health? Do these priorities differ between different types of participants?
What experiences did participants report having during their pregnancy, labour, and birth? How do these relate to participant mental health and neurotype?
There may be a few quiet months in terms of updates, as the study Principal Investigator will be going on maternity leave herself.
